Hosting in Canada

Our goal is to place students in warm, welcoming homes with families who genuinely enjoy hosting international students. All host families are carefully selected through an application process, interviews, home inspections, and reference checks to ensure a safe and comfortable environment and a good match for each student.

Canada is wonderfully diverse, and our host families reflect this. Families may include couples with children, single parents, single adults, or retired couples—each offering a unique and enriching cultural experience.

Like most Canadians, host families often have busy weekday schedules. While time together may be limited, families are happy to help students get settled by sharing information about local attractions, shopping areas, libraries, and entertainment options so students can explore and enjoy their community independently, especially on weekends.
